Samsung, the Korean smartphone giant is expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G as the updated version of the Galaxy A52 that was launched a couple of months ago. The device is expected to bring certain feature changes and add support for 5G connectivity, something that has become a sort of a norm in recent times. Today, a new report via Winfuture.de has claimed that the product will be going official by the end of August, with the report also releasing the key specifications and pricing of the handset.

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G Rumoured Specifications

The rumoured specifications reveal that the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G could come with a  6.5-inch S-AMOLED panel with a resolution of FHD+. There will also be an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, with the top part of the display housing a 32MP selfie snapper as a punch-hole camera. Optics wise, the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G will come with a 64MP main sensor with a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens and a final 5MP depth sensor rounding off the quad-camera stack. The main sensor will also be able to take 4K videos. Performance-wise, the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G will make use of the Snapdragon 778G chipset, which will be an upgrade over the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G which featured a Snapdragon 750G chipset. The 778G will be coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with some markets also getting a 256GB variant. Battery-wise, the device will sport a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. The device will supposedly boot Android 11 based OneUI 3.1 out of the box. Miscellaneous features include dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, microSD expansion support, and a USB-C port. The A52s 5G will also come with an IP67 dust and water resistance rating. Pricing wise, the Galaxy A52s 5G will arrive in the European markets with a price tag of 449 Euros or $530, with the device supposedly set to be offered in four different hues, namely blue, black, green and purple. This news comes after Samsung held its Unpacked 2021 event, which saw the company showcase its latest foldable handsets, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, alongside the new Galaxy Buds 2 and Watch 4 series, consisting of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, sporting the new Exynos W920 chip.
